All non-religious major students at Underwood are required to take 6 credit hours of University Core courses. The course in Life Journey covers a broad range of topics and issues such as faith, tradition, and civic responsibility in order to seek a holistic development in the student’s personal and social life. In the Life Journey Practicum, students will take the values and principles gained and apply to real life situations mainly through community involvement and service. In addition, all students are required to take an Employment Practicum and a course in Career Planning and Decision Making in order to help students lay the foundation for their future career decision-making.
